With two-thirds of companies predicting that they will require a 10x increase in modelling performance over the next five years, a proactive approach is required. By being proactive, these companies are embracing and investing in true HPC-enabled software, enabling them to limit and reduce the amount of hardware required. While writing code for accelerators is certainly not easy, it is essential to arrive at a truly optimized solver for HPC hardware.
 
We've built our EXN/Aero software package to deliver economical supercomputing to CFD teams of all sizes, allowing businesses to be confident in their ability to increase performance, but also to reduce hardware investment. We now seek exceptional individuals to help drive the product forward, and take EXN/Aero into the future.

Sales Development Representative Role - 2 Vacancies

Compensation: $70,000 base + commissions (inc Medical & Dental)

As the SDR, you play a critical role building and growing this company. You will build the sales pipeline by identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities, and you will nurture these opportunities through to conversion. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic hustler who wants to be part of the growth of an industry changing product with a disruptive business model. We get involved in a wide range of interesting simulation applications including missile aerodynamics, submarines hydrodynamics, cannabis cultivation, vape device design, luxury yacht hull optimizations, operating room designs, and much more. The learning is non stop, and the engineering team is always more than happy to educate you on each application. Despite being a competitive and highly competent team, we have a "check your ego at the door" mentality and collaborative culture.

Here’s what a rockstar in this role will accomplish:

  • Secure 5 new product demos each week
  • Convert at least two prospects to paying customers each month
  • Obtain and organize referrals through the Net Promoter process
  • Research to generate new leads

Requirements:

  • You have both the desire and ability to learn
  • You are coachable and able to incorporate feedback quickly
  • You like talking to people (and they like talking to you)
  • You use active listening to understand client needs
  • You challenge others to expand their perspectives and see new ones
  • You prefer working at a fast pace and have no problems meeting tight deadlines
  • You are assertive, but not aggressive (if you fight fire with fire, you won't succeed on this team)

Experience:

  • Experience in B2B software sales
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Experience selling to engineering consulting firms
  • Structured and organized approach to sales
  • Experience with $1-2M+ annual sales target
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent self-starter with a preference for initiating and setting own direction
  • Fluency in English/French
  • $20-60k product price experience
  • Experience in growing existing clients and creating new business
  • Experience selling to sized 1-50 employee engineering firms
  • Experience selling a new product
  • CAE industry knowledge and SaaS sales are a bonus
