Envenio heads to Boston, MA, this May 24th, to present at the Building Tech Forum 2018The event is organized by the United States Green Building Council (Massachusetts), and will take place at the Atlantic Wharf, Boston, at 5:30PM. The event will explore the theme of net positive energy buildings, a hot topic related to the sustainability of cities and infrastructure.

Net positive energy buildings could be the future of the built environment. Net positive energy describes the concept of a building supplying its own energy needs in excess over the course of a year. As the sustainability of our cities becomes a pressing issue for our industry, the Building Tech Forum will be an avenue for professionals to learn about net positive energy innovations and solutions.

Building Tech Forum 2018

The event will see over 250 industry professionals and experts in attendance, alongside green technology firms and building product companies, all discussing cutting-edge research and products designed to support net positive energy buildings. Envenio's presentation to attendees will focus on the role of CFD for HVAC challenges, highlighting how simulations can help improve energy efficiency in buildings. This follows on from Envenio's attendance at Ecobuild 2018 earlier this year, reflecting the company's wider goal to increase awareness and understanding of simulation as a key tool for building sustainability.

"We are delighted to be attending the Building Tech Forum 18, and remain committed to working closely with the built sector to increase the use of CFD simulation, whether for increasing energy efficiency, complementing BIM practices, or improving building designs " says Scott Walton, VP of Envenio.

The evening will start with drinks and networking before the presentations begin. Networking opportunities and exhibition tables will also provide an insightful platform for those leading the way in this hugely important topic.

Envenio helps companies improve the design and performance of their buildings, products, or environments by using next generation fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. We provide this as a cloud based on-demand tool or as an engineering service. Our engineers

EXN/Aero is a high value tool for understanding airflow and temperature behavior in and around buildings, cityscapes, or inside renewable technologies or HVAC products. These simulations can lead to major performance improvements, cost savings, and quality issue reductions. We are a Canadian company with staff in Canada, the United States, and the UK, and we help companies in over 10 countries.
